UP CHK Walking for Fitness Program launched

The College of Human Kinetics initiated a fitness program inviting the faculty and staff of the university to participate in a weekly run/walk activity every Friday, starting at 4:00pm, at the CHK Track Oval. Aside from the running/walking activity, the participants’ Body Mass Index was also checked using the college’s Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) equipment as well as their blood pressure before proceeding to the activity. The program started last April 19 and will conclude on June 7.
