UPD CHK Department of Sports Science Chair Assoc. Prof. Marla Frances T. Mallari and Graduate Studies Program Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Jonathan Y. Cagas conducted a workshop for the UP Mindanao Department of Human Kinetics (DHK) on the implementation of the Bachelor of Sports Science (BSS) and the Master of Science in Human Movement Science (MSHMS) Programs.

Both the BSS and MSHMS programs were adopted with approval from UP Diliman CHK. The UP Board of Regents approved the UP Mindanao BSS program in its 1372nd Meeting on 28 July 2022, and the MSHMS program in its 1379th Meeting on 3 April 2023.
