He has completed all his academic degrees at the University of the Philippines Diliman – Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication (College of Mass Communication), Diploma in Physical Education and MSci in Human Movement Science (College of Human Kinetics). Currently, he is completing his second master’s degree MSci in Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organization and Management of Olympic Events at the International Olympic Academy and University of Peloponnese in Olympia, Greece.
He is a certified strength & conditioning coach by the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association and has a Level 1 athletics coaching certification from the World Athletics.
Handles Principles of Coaching, Methods of Physical Conditioning, Intro to Exercise and Sports Science, and Strategic Sport Marketing courses.

Formerly, he was designated as the Secretary General of the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) and the chief author of its athletics development program and was its Marketing and Communications Director from 2014 until his appointment as SG of the federation.
